Ingredients

Medium size sweet potatoes or yam, peeled and cubes 4
Cups water 5
Stick butter ½
Cup light brown sugar 1
Teaspoon salt ¼
Teaspoon cinnamon powder ¼
oz Marshmallow 8

Sweet potato or yams with caramelized cinnamon butter sugar is very delicious. It’s traditional holiday food in America.

Directions

  1. Put sweet potato and water in a large pot, cook for 10 minutes, drained.
  2. Put cooked potato in a greased bake ware, set a side.
  3. Melted butter in a small sauce-pan, add brown sugar, salt and cinnamon powder, stirs well.
  4. Pour sugar butter evenly over cooked potato.
  5. Bake in 350-degrees oven until potato tender and sauce thicken.
  6. Put marshmallows on top and continue to bake till marshmallows melted.
  7. Serve hot or warm.
