Grilled Salmon Rice Recipe

The Grilled Salmon Rice Recipe offers a delicious and quick-to-prepare dish made from salmon, soy sauce, brown sugar, and other key ingredients. This Cambodian cuisine, heavily influenced by French, Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese flavors, showcases the rich diversity of Khmer food. Traditionally served as a breakfast dish, this recipe is known for its simplicity, ease of preparation, and high-calorie content.

The ingredients list includes half a salmon, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, lime juice, olive oil, lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt. The fish is seasoned with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt before being set aside. The marinade is created by combining soy sauce, brown sugar, water, lime juice, and olive oil in a bowl until the brown sugar is fully dissolved. The seasoned fish is then placed in a Ziploc bag, and the marinade is added, requiring a marination period of at least 2 hours before grilling or baking.

For grilling, the fish is grilled for approximately 8 minutes on each side until it easily flakes with a fork. If baking is preferred, the oven should be preheated to 400 degrees, and the fish should be baked for about 8 to 10 minutes until fully cooked.
