Peppermint Cream Candies Recipe

The Peppermint Cream Candies Recipe offers a quick and simple way to create delightful cream candies with a refreshing peppermint flavor. Requiring just minutes to assemble, this recipe is not only easy to make but also yields a delicious treat that is perfect for parties and gift-giving occasions. The key ingredients include a 1 lb bag of powdered sugar, condensed milk, peppermint extract, green food coloring, and dark chocolate for dipping.

To prepare the peppermint cream candies, all ingredients, except the dark chocolate, are mixed together until the powdered sugar forms a cohesive dough. Using a measuring spoon, the dough is shaped into round balls and laid on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Dark chocolate is melted using a double boiler or a glass bowl until smooth. It is essential to let the chocolate cool slightly to prevent the sugar dough from melting during the dipping process.

Each green peppermint dough ball is then dipped into the melted dark chocolate, creating a sweet and rich coating. The dipped candies are placed on another cookie sheet lined with wax paper and left to cool for a few hours or overnight before being wrapped. This recipe emphasizes the simplicity of the preparation, making it accessible for various skill levels in the kitchen.
